The Rickshaw Run 2008/09

When someone talks about this, or even if I point this out to my friends in a casual manner, they are confused as to what this is all about. When I do mention that this is a Trishaw drive from South India to the Himalayas, the first expression on their faces are astonishment or the look that is given towards a retard. However, further explanation always draws them into this adventure filled event.

However, the disgust was when we had known that the applications were on a lottery. This meant that we were kicked out of the first round. Our morales are at an all time low as this did not get through, which we were all ready for and keen to participate. I for a matter of fact was thinking on re starting the Hindi lessons that had been put on hold for my mere inability to manage time aka utter laziness.

Life....uncertainity...predicament..!

Christmas in Goa, was my intention with Cocco Niro and Amma Sada. Apparently, during my travel within India, news had hit that my Grandmother had an Annurism attack. I had at that instant not even know what an annurism was. But on studying further, to my astonishment found that a simple tumourol block of blood within blood cells in or around the portion of the head having a tendency to break thereby giving way to comatose, or even death due to hemorrhage.

Thank God, She survived and although is bedridden, we expect her to cure on her own.

What perplexes me is that she is an extremely active, healthy lady with no disorders or complications, alas had to go through such a difficulty.

A learning curve for the young ....Life...uncertain....predicament...!
