The Tainted ruby of the 7 Seas

The Scandinavians today were the mighty nomads ages ago, who could not stop ruthless massacre. The scotts today were a breakaway of the mighty Vikings who would do anything for money or resources, but till date not fought for themselves. The English were once the largest in slavery. The Romans were the greediest who preach on the sanctum of peace today. The Americans are a break away who felt they could not live in Europe and the Australians convicted criminals.

The funny part is that we have all these nations claiming responsibility towards a better Sri Lanka. How pathetic.

We belong to the original Dravidian crème, who believed in peace, love, harmony. This is what has pushed us from our rightful Mohan/Harappa civilisation zone down to South India or Sri Lanka. Why? We were too humble to fight for ourselves against newcomers, but ever ready to kill for a penny’s worth within our own race / creed. This is who we are. This is who we shall be, and this will remain as the advantage for the rest of the world.

We talk about the government, LTTE, and bull crap...true. The problem started because the minority Tamils wanted more seats in parliament. The Black July in 1983 thanks to JR. The assassination of Rajiv followed by Premadasa, Lalith, Dissanayake and so on. We have lost more talent per square area than any part of the world. We have lost our self respect. We led the form of human bombs. We showed the world ruthlessness in its smartest way.

For what?
Parents without kids, kids without parents, raped women, massacred men, brainwashed humans, epileptical children, mind blogged elders and the list goes on. Genocide at its best as I would call it, be it Sinhala, Tamil muslim or whoever you are.

One part thanks that the war is coming to an end while the other thinks about the anger brewing within those who lost loved ones. The last 30 years has shed so much of blood that the vengeance shall remain for a while...hope not forever. Thanks to those filthy retards a generation back who never thought as much of the consequences of the pen, our country is in turmoil.

Will this be the end or the beginning? Time will answer. Hope it proves to be the best healer.

Ive always wanted the pearl of the Indian Ocean and have been gifted with the Tainted Ruby.

The war is over...I hope. The ethnic conflict is over...I hope. The differences between the sinhalese and Tamils are over ...I hope. The new generation is born...I hope. I hope, that hope itself would cease to be a dream.

Lets wait an see...thats what we could do at the most...!

The Rickshaw Run 2008/09

When someone talks about this, or even if I point this out to my friends in a casual manner, they are confused as to what this is all about. When I do mention that this is a Trishaw drive from South India to the Himalayas, the first expression on their faces are astonishment or the look that is given towards a retard. However, further explanation always draws them into this adventure filled event.

However, the disgust was when we had known that the applications were on a lottery. This meant that we were kicked out of the first round. Our morales are at an all time low as this did not get through, which we were all ready for and keen to participate. I for a matter of fact was thinking on re starting the Hindi lessons that had been put on hold for my mere inability to manage time aka utter laziness.

Well, anyways, if any of you are keen on knowing more on this, go on to www.wayne.net and search for winter rickshaw run. You will be amazed to see as to how wacky we as humans could get.

Hoping to get in through the second round. My bro Dilip who is my partner i hear has started praying to be selected..!

Wacky we are and wacky we want to be....!

Life....uncertainity...predicament..!

Christmas in Goa, was my intention with Cocco Niro and Amma Sada. Apparently, during my travel within India, news had hit that my Grandmother had an Annurism attack. I had at that instant not even know what an annurism was. But on studying further, to my astonishment found that a simple tumourol block of blood within blood cells in or around the portion of the head having a tendency to break thereby giving way to comatose, or even death due to hemorrhage.

Thank God, She survived and although is bedridden, we expect her to cure on her own.

What perplexes me is that she is an extremely active, healthy lady with no disorders or complications, alas had to go through such a difficulty.

A learning curve for the young ....Life...uncertain....predicament...!

T 20 - A New Era

The tests were less preferred to the 50 overs, which then slouched slightly towards the 6 a side and now, a totally new era of T 20 a.k.a twenty twenty. Personally, I would say that after looking at duckworth's rule which at times seems to be such a great gift towards the batting team, The T 20 is the cricketers nightmare come true for each mistake committed be it bowling or bating ,wherein the rules imply that a simple no ball could result with sparing life to the batsman in line.

The rules are so much to look at that one has to really see the match to comprehend the game. After all, it's the same game, same players, same equipment, but with a different time, restricted rules and a fun filled spicy venue.

We start today, Lets see how the T 20 scores in comparison to the legendry Test's, innovative One day's and quick 6 a sides....!

Enjoy T20, Its a new era of cricketing.....!
