A dull 'weak' end

When one falls sick, it seems as though all the living and non living items hate you. I am down with tonguesills, cold, cough, indigestion, soar throat and a neck ache. Sounds like a one time free to all package doesnt it?

My idea was to clean my room, wardrobe; check some new furniture; do some marketing; get the laundry done; wash the vehicles and have a healthy diet last weekend. Now, none of these been done i have to get back home on a sickening Monday after a very heavy day to do the pending chores. damn!

To add thinks worse Monday has become the better of the best ones; my files are flooding with work; emails dropping like rain.Being sick to the stomach, thought of taking a couple of mins off my regular work, blog this and get back to being the workaholic i am.

Dad is 59 Now!

Surprise Party Posted by Picasa

Surprises once in a while do work. The last surprise which we had was when Dilip had come home all the way from Philadelphia which none at home knew about. Since then which has been more than 2 years no suprises were seen at home. The planning was so short; which took place only on Saturday for the party three days later on Tuesday. As a matter of fact dad had wanted us to have a small get together at our place two days before; which was put down by me excusing that it would not be appropriate as the next day being a working day would keep the children awake late evening; the lie was taken up. Preperations all were going well.

Tuesday morning was regular; early visit to the temple; hard days work and the return home. Totally unexpected a group of 7 were waiting to shock him. Taken aback walking in to the dining he finds an array of preperations; the highlight being the cake sent to dad by diloo from Philly. Rushani had done some suprise blasts and balloons. Mom had baked some excellent snacks both veg n non veg; along with a couple of desserts. She had wanted me to post the pics of the food online too. The evening was filled with fun and frolic where families of Nagalingam uncle, Bala Sithappa and Kumar mama were there for the small event. Diloo-thanks for the cake. It was delicous; missed you. We missed the others; especially Sundar Sithappa and all who had called dad at office to wish him for his "59th" birthday.

The next one gotta be a stunning one. Await for that exactly in 365 days.
